We develop miniaturized devices and systems for biological and medical applications using microfabrication and microfluidics technologies in collaboration with biologists and medical doctors.

The nature of our research is highly multidisciplinary and integrates diverse disciplines such as mechanical/ materials engineering, physics, chemistry, and biological sciences and medicine. 

Our research methodology includes theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, design and fabrication, and experimental validation.

» Jonghyun Oh and Rob Hart’s paper was accepted for publication from Lab on a Chip. (August, 2008)

» Dr. Noh received NSF CAREER Award for his project entitled “ENGINEERING LIVER SINUSOID FUNCTIONAL UNIT.” (April, 2008)

» Dr. Noh received NIH R21 grant for his project entitled “IMPLANTABLE MICRODEVICE FOR THE TREATMENT OF HYDROCEPHALUS.” (Start from September, 2008)
